Mainpicture
My name is Vincentsedubun. The following days i will try to keep up to date with things i would like to share with you. At the moment my focus will only be about fashion in Second Life, with pictures attached that i find beautiful and hope you like it as well. I hope i will eventually work it out to show you that there is more about it in this, what i like to refer as a game with a lot of freedom and possibilities. For me, Second Life is still a game, altho many will state that there is no actual goal, there are no actual limits in it and may refer it as a virtual social experience. As being a hardcore Quake 3 Arena player for many years, a few other shooters which required teamplay and played a few online MMORPG games, i can tell when ever you have to work together with only a few limits that is available to you as a player, i can tell, after a few years dwelming on the Grid, there where limits, and a goal to do whatever you want to do. You can quit it whenever you want and the pressure, the obstacle that had to be conquered was and is still patient and lag. You as a player, an avatar, in Second Life, will still have to deal with other players, avatars, which is the same whenever you go online and play a online 'game'. The only thing that makes the difference between this virtual social experience and just another 'game', is that it is close experienced to the real life. But then again, a game such as World of Warcraft, that used to require teamplay, communication and the knowledge of your role in a group is also the same as working in a company. For me, Second Life is still a game, but like any other online games, you still deal with real people with real emotions. Nobody can point a gun against your head in-game, pull the trigger and kill you in real life. There are still limits with a goal. I mean, when i play Leagues of Legends, i can just sit there too, do nothing but chat with my group members..
